My Favorite "Tambayan"

             Every one in this world has its own "tambayan". Well,what is a "tambayan" anyway?
 




               A "tambayan" is a place where you would like to be whenever you have your vacant time. At school, my favorite spot is our pathway . I'd like to be in the  pathway because the air there is very fresh and relaxing though there area lot of students walking by. I'd like to  sit and relax in the pathway with my friends because,there we can have more time for fun.  :)

A lesson learned from a foreign visit

              Calpine Corporation's "THE GEYSERS" Geothermal Field is what Mr. John Traller introduced to us last October 12,2011. Before he started, he first gave us an article to read about geothermal energy.Then, he asked us if what is geothermal energy,but it seems that no one wanted to answer,so he answered his own question he said that it's the heat energy in the earth. As I  read the article given it states there that inside the earth,magma (hot molten rock) is continuously being formed. It can rise near the surface. As the magma slowly cools,its heat is transferred to the rocks around. The heat is called geothermal energy. Geothermal energy can help countries become more energy independent . In many countries, they could get all of their electricity and heating from geothermal energy.
            Meanwhile,he asked if do w have any questions, so we asked if the power plants of geothermal steam doesn't affect our environment. Then,he answered that ti doesn't affect the environment and he also explained to us the benefits of geothermal energy.
        
          Geothermal Energy offers some important advantages:

*It helps keep our air clean
      That's because geothermal power plants do not burn fossil fuels to make electricity .
*It's Renewable
     The supply of heat in the earth is enormous and is continuously regenerated.
*It's Sustainable 
     When carefully managed,a  geothermal reservoir can be used indefinitely.
*It's Secure and Reliable
         A geothermal power plant can run day and night, year in and year out. It sits on top of its fuel source and does not rely on imported fuels.
*It Conserve Fossil Fuels
      The use of geothermal energy saves millions of barrels of oil each year! This means that:
            -We can be more energy independent and fossil fuels can be saved for other purposes and for use by generations.

Teachers Day Celebration

          Last October 5,2011 we celebrated the world teachers day. Teachers day are intended to be the special day for appreciation to our beloved teachers.
        As our theme "My Teacher, My Hero" I can say that yes! my teacher is my hero because they had  been the guiding force of our life. They are the one who made us the expert of the subject  and also, been the motivational factor behind our success.As a student, I often fail to identify the contribution of our teachers in my  life but later in life, I realize his/her importance at every milestone of my life. I am so thankful to all my teachers, for sharing with us their knowledge and for molding us to become a better individual.
        On the occasion of teachers’ day,we commemorate the efforts of our teachers in various ways. We prepared a little party for all our fourth year advisers even if its not a grand party but at least we made them happy. The graduating class was gathered in the room of fourth year Burgos. Our adviser, Mrs.Gertrudes Mejos took her seat as a queen among them.

 After the first part of our program, the dancing of our teachers by their students was followed.

It was such a memorable teachers day we had.So,I want to say you are  the best teachers in the world. Wherever I may go in my life, I will always remember that I had an excellent guide in the form of a teacher.
In you,I found guidance, friendship, discipline, love,and everything.
Teacher you have always shown us the right way. Whatever  we have achieved in our life its because of you. Thanks for being our guide and mentor. Happy Teachers’ Day!

My experience as a first time blogger

            When I was just a sophomore student, my teacher keeps on telling us that someday we will make our own blog. At last !this is it, now I have my own  blog. At first, I thought creating a blog is not that easy but now that I have my own, I can say that it is too far from what I've thought. Making a blog is so exciting because its just like making a diary, you must have to make it beautiful, unique, and cool. But, there are such things that blogging differs from having a diary because in making a diary you are only the one whose gonna read what you've written on it, unlike in blogging that it allows unlimited people to visit you're blog.
             Having a blog is such a wonderful thing it is for the reason that while posting some details on your blog, at the same time you can also earn money.
            I hope that as you visit my blog you can realized that little things matters most.
